Born 1984. Hart is an Oakland-based artist whose work has depth and imagination, building fully staged stories through character-driven work painting words and images, drawing upon the artists own nostalgia and views while also drawing familiar forms that can be commonplace in anyones life. Their work takes on multi-layered dimensions of pop color, wild patterns, and repeated imagery that reflect many pieces of their experiences. Being a self-trained artist, Hart has a range of styles, from broad brush strokes, obscured details, and rough application the artist builds imagery with humor and a cringe look that reflects everyday reality.
