While skateboarding is a solo endeavor, there is an aspect of community and culture that bring people together.  In this painting, there are names of professional skateboarders and the tricks/styles they are known for or invented. The flowers in the spittoon represent a passion and a faithfulness to the art . The collage is an inverted painting by Caravaggio  entitled “ Death of Christ” over pages from a medical school book.  The skeleton, while  joyful, is alone with a finger skateboard the leads to a up turned concrete slab over a tree stump.
